Aced Poker Review
Aced is the newest room on the Merge Poker network, but it has already become the top room on the network with the signing of WSOP champion Jamie Gold. The initial deposit bonus at Aced is the industry standard and the clearing conditions are very fair. The promotions at Aced are very promising, including the interesting ‘Outs Program’ and the great value Jamie Gold Invitational tournament. The traffic is still fairly low, but this is improving and the loads of fish playing on the Merge network makes it worthwhile to check out. Aced is a solid new poker room that has already proven that they are here to stay.

Aced Poker offers a 100% matching bonus up to $500 on all initial deposits with the use of bonus code “Aced100”. This means that you receive a bonus amount equal to the amount of your first deposit up to a maximum of $500. You must clear your bonus in order to release it into your Aced Poker real money account. In order to clear your bonus you must earn comp points by playing in Aced tournaments and cash games. You earn a certain amount of comp points for playing in different tournaments and you can see the amount on the registration screen of the tournament. You earn approximately 10 comp points for every $1 you pay in tournament fees. In cash games you earn a specific amount of comp points per raked hand depending which stakes you are playing. Traffic
Aced Poker is a part of the Merge Poker network, which averages 380 cash game players online at a time. Even though the traffic is relatively low, Aced Poker consistently has hold’em games running with stakes up to $5/$10. With the addition of Jamie Gold games up to $50/$100 run at some times. Aced also offers many other poker varieties including 7 card stud, Omaha, 5 card stud, 5 card draw, triple draw, badugi, razz and HORSE. Software and Graphics
Aced’s software offers smooth game play and a nice design that includes a lot of neat features. At Aced Poker you are able to rabbit hunt, which means you can see the turn and river of a completed hand, and at some tables you even have the option to deal it twice. The tables are resizable, which allows you to multi-table with ease. The Aced Poker software also includes a casino section where you can play many casino games including blackjack, roulette and video poker.
Competition
The Merge Poker network, which Aced is a new member of, built the small player base that it currently has by attracting players through freerolls. Merge is currently moving away from this strategy, but there are still plenty of loose, freeroll type players that play on the network. The pre-flop percentages of around 50% on the micro stake tables, which goes to show that the network is very loose and a tight aggressive player could easily beat the micro stakes.
