2023 NFL Divisional Winner Betting Odds
2023 NFL Divisional Winner Betting Odds
As we get ready for the start of the National Football League season, one of the future bets worth looking at is divisional winners for each of the eight divisions. Keep in mind eight teams will win a division, and six more teams will make the postseason via the wildcard. Let’s take a look at the most up-to-date 2023 NFL Divisional Winner Betting Odds:
AFC East:
Buffalo Bills +120
New York Jets +270
Miami Dolphins +300
New England Patriots +800
Josh Allen and his Buffalo Bills are the favorites again. The Bills have had some good success in divisional play. Is this a season that Buffalo can get over the hump and get to the Super Bowl? It’s been Kansas City and Cincinnati, and the Bills feel a little left out.
The Jets have Aaron Rodgers as the quarterback, while the Dolphins, with Tua under center, seem to be trending upwards. New England is the biggest underdog at +800 for this division. This should be a fun one to watch.
AFC North:
Cincinnati Bengals +150
Baltimore Ravens +235
Cleveland Browns +380
Pittsburgh Steelers +450
Joe Burrow got hurt in training camp, which gave the rest of the division some life. Let’s see if this injury lingers or if it is even an issue once the season gets going for Cincinnati. The Ravens are the sexy pick by many and have a motivated and paid Lamar Jackson under center.
He was given some weapons, so we will see how he responds. Cleveland will continue to pound the ball on the ground and play good defense. Pittsburgh has a big year ahead with Kenny Pickett under center.
AFC South:
Jacksonville Jaguars -115
Tennessee Titans +350
Indianapolis Colts +600
Houston Texans +800
Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars are the team to beat in a division that ranks near the bottom of the league. The Titans, Colts, and Texans all have a chance to upend them but will need to put together a better approach and do it quickly.
The Titans probably have the best chance with Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins. Indianapolis is a mess and maybe without Jonathan Taylor. Houston will start a rookie quarterback, so they are a big wildcard on how well they will fare.
AFC West:
Kansas City Chiefs -165
Los Angeles Chargers +340
Denver Broncos +550
Las Vegas Raiders +1200
The Kansas City Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl Champions and one of the biggest favorites to repeat as divisional champions. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are going to be the toughest connection to stop in 2023.
The rest of the division starts with Justin Herbert and his Chargers hungry to get back to the postseason, and this time bust through. A new head coach leads the Broncos in Sean Payton, while the Raiders are without Josh Jacobs until further notice.
NFC East:
Philadelphia Eagles -135
Dallas Cowboys +190
New York Giants +850
Washington Commanders +1600
The defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles come in as the favorites. Jalen Hurts is one of the top choices to win the MVP this season. The Eagles have a new run game, but the rest of the team is loaded as ever. The Dallas Cowboys are another team with a new run approach.
This is a big season for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. New York comes in at +850, even after reaching the postseason a season ago. Finally, the Commanders are the biggest underdog here, at 16/1 odds.
NFC North:
Detroit Lions +140
Minnesota Vikings +275
Green Bay Packers +400
Chicago Bears +400
With the loss of Aaron Rodgers, the Packers are no longer the easy favorite to pick in the NFC North. Despite being the favorite last year, Minnesota came away with the divisional crowd. Minnesota lost some guys in Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen, but surprisingly, they dropped to second behind an upstart Detroit team.
The Packers saw some good play from Jordan Love in the preseason, while the Bears have Justin Fields. This will be a very competitive division to watch, and intrigue builds each week.
NFC South:
New Orleans Saints +120
Atlanta Falcons +215
Carolina Panthers +400
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +800
The division that no one really knows what will go on. Remember, a season ago, the Buccaneers won the division at under .500 on the season. Tom Brady is gone, and Baker Mayfield is in for Tampa Bay. They are the biggest underdog at 8/1 odds. Carolina is using Bryce Young under center and adding some help with Miles Sanders and Adam Theilen.
The Atlanta Falcons are young at the skill spots on offense. Desmond Ridder at quarterback, and likely Bijan Robinson is getting carries at running back. Finally, the Saints are the favorites. Derek Carr is in as the starting quarterback, and Jamaal Williams will prove to be a huge pick-up for the Saints.
NFC West:
San Francisco 49ers -160
Seattle Seahawks +195
Los Angeles Rams +1000
Arizona Cardinals +2500
The 49ers are back as one of the top favorites to win the division. San Francisco will have either Brock Purdy or Trey Lance to use with Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Aiyuk. The 49ers defense is also one of the most elite in the game.
The Seattle Seahawks will go as far as Geno Smith takes them. He played in every game last season and will bring DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett back for his weapons. The Rams and Cardinals are big underdogs. The Rams have a bunch of young guys, while Arizona is projected to be the worst team in all of the NFL.
This is going to be a fun National Football League season. Be sure to check out all the latest odds, and best of luck with all your NFL betting!
