Caesars and NFL Strike Deal for Official Data

Caesars Sportsbook has been making big moves over the last few weeks, but perhaps the biggest move was made earlier this week. It was announced that Caesars has signed up for the official data feed that is required for betting on the NFL.

Earlier in 2021, Caesars was able to ink a deal with the National Football League to make them one of the tri-exclusive partners. That deal required Caesars to sign up for the official NFL data feed, but that didn’t occur until this week.

Now that the deal has been made official, Caesars Sportsbook will have the rights to the entire product offering from Genius Sports. The official NFL data is obviously the biggest piece of that product, but there are other major markets included as well.

Genius Sports also has the rights to the official league data for the English Premier League and NASCAR, and that has been included in this partnership as well. Caesars will also have access to all of the live streaming that is done by Genius, and there is more than 170,000 opportunities each year.

Caesars made a big splash earlier this year when it announced that it had agreed to purchase William Hill. William Hill is a massive sports betting operator in the UK and the US, but those sportsbooks have started to be rebranded under the Caesars Sportsbook name.

Fans of the New Orleans Saints will also see the Caesars name more this football season as it has bought the naming rights to the Superdome. This is the first time that an NFL stadium will bear the name of a sports betting company, something that was once thought of as impossible.

Improving the sports betting experience for its customers is one of the biggest priorities for Caesars, and becoming a partner of the NFL and Genius is one way to accomplish this. This deal will help improve the live-betting offerings from Caesars, and this has become one of the most popular ways to bet on sports in the US.

Big Move For Genius As Well

Genius is another company that has been gaining traction in the US sports betting industry, and DraftKings Sportsbook was the first customer for the official league data. Later on Tuesday night, it was announced that WynnBET had also signed up for the product, and others are on the way.

In this deal with Caesars, Genius will help acquire new customers to the sportsbook as the companies will be working together. Genius has been given permission from the league to use all of its assets to improve the information and data that it sends to its customers.

The National Football League initially fought back against the growing sports betting trend in the United States, but that is no longer the case. Now the league has allowed individual teams to partner with sports betting operators, and betting will be featured on live telecasts.

The 2021 NFL season officially kicks off on Thursday, September 9, when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Dallas Cowboys.
