Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Pick – Week 16

On Saturday, we have a battle of AFC North teams, as the Cincinnati Bengals are on the road at the Pittsburgh Steelers in National Football League action. The Cincinnati Bengals come into the game as winners of three straight games.

With that winning streak, they are in the sixth spot in the AFC Playoffs picture. Cincinnati is third in the AFC North behind the Ravens and the Browns. Last week, the Bengals topped the Minnesota VIkings in overtime.

For Pittsburgh, they have dropped three straight games. With the three game losing streak, Pittsburgh fell from 5th in the AFC to out of the playoffs. The Steelers beat the Bengals in the first meeting, so a win here would push them back ahead in the race for a wildcard spot.

The Cincinnati Bengals are -2.5 on the road at the Steelers in this game. The total for the game is set at 36.5 points.

Browning Led Bengals

The talk of the town for the Cincinnati Bengals has been their quarterback Jake Browning. The signal caller replaced the injured Joe Burrow and has gone 3-0. Browning has completed nearly 74% of his passes, for 7 touchdowns and 3 interceptions this season. Ja’Marr Chase continues to be the top dog in the offense. Chase has 1,156 yards on the season. He is questionable in this game with a shoulder injury.

Joe Mixon will be the top running option.  Mixon has carried the football 211 times for 815 yards and 8 touchdowns. Chase Brown has emerged as of late, and been good out of the back field when it comes to pass catching.

The Bengals are on the road at the Kansas City Chiefs on New Years Eve, and then will come back home and take on the Browns in Week 18.

Offensively Challenged Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are offensively challenged. That is not a question. They are one of the worst offensive teams in the National Football League. In fact, the Steelers rank 28th in the league with just under 16 points per game.

Kenny Pickett is questionable in this game with an ankle injury, and Mitchell Trubisky has not been very good. That gives Mason Rudolph the start under center. The former Oklahoma State star will look for George Pickens early and often. Pickens leads the team with 814 yards.

This is the final home game of the season for the Steelers. Pittsburgh is at Seattle next week, and then will finish on the road at the Ravens.

Bengals Finish off Steelers

This is a big time rivalry game. The Steelers are chomping at the bit to get back into the mix, and throw their team in the ring for a postseason spot. Cincinnati has played better football, and they are going to be irritated about the loss to Pittsburgh earlier.

Push comes to shove, the Bengals are the more talented team. When we go to bet on this game, we are taking the Cincinnati Bengals, despite being on the road. Our final bet is the Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday!
