Harrison had 14 touchdowns on the season. TreVeyon Henderson is also expected to play, and be the top running back option. Backup Chip Trayanum has committed to transfer to Kentucky.
Ohio State was one of the top offensive teams in the country with 32.8 points per game, but they made more of their name on defense. Ohio State allowed just 11 points per game.
Tigers Offense Big Season
Brady Cook and the Missouri Tigers offense was one of the best in College Football this season. Cook was terrific with over 3,100 yards and 20 touchdowns. Luther Burden III was one of the elite receivers in the game this season. He had six receptions in the win over Arkansas, and 83 on the season.
Burden had nearly 1,200 yards on the season. The passing game for the Tigers averaged 273.5 yards per game. Also on offense was Cody Schrader. The running back from St. Louis was a workhorse for the Tigers offense. He rushed the football 247 times. He is 11 yards shy of 1,500 on the season, with 13 touchdowns.
The two losses this season for the Tigers came at home to the LSU Tigers, and on the road at the Georgia Bulldogs.
Thriller in Dallas
This should be a really good bowl game. Both teams are fighting with some guys missing for this game. Ohio State seems to have some pretty big losses here. Missouri is having a season to remember, and would love to come away with the Cotton Bowl title.
