Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers Betting Preview – NFL Week 11

In one of the biggest mismatches in the National Football League for Week 11, the Dallas Cowboys are at the Carolina Panthers. Dallas comes into the game with a 6-3 record, and second place in the NFC East. The Cowboys are coming off a blowout win over the New York Giants on Sunday.

For the Carolina Panthers, they are coming off the Thursday Night Football loss at the Chicago Bears in Week 10. The Panthers are 1-8 on the season, and last in the entire league. The Dallas Cowboys come into this game as massive favorites. Dallas is listed at -11.5 over Carolina.

Struggles in Carolina

Things have not gone well for the Carolina Panthers under first year head coach Frank Reicht. The Panthers have just one win on the season. Carolina also does not own their first round draft pick, so losing does not have the bottom line like others would have. The Panthers lone win was over the Houston Texans 15-13.

Carolina is 29th in the National Football League in points, with just 17 per game. The defense has not been much better, or any better, ranking 30th, allowing 26.9 per game. Adam Thielen continues to put together a great career as a receiver. The veteran has caught 68 passes for 652 yards and four touchdowns.

The Panthers are heading out for a three pack of road games following this game. The Panthers are at the Titans, the Buccaneers and then the Saints, before returning home to take on the Falcons and Packers before Christmas.

Dallas Looking on a Mission

The Dallas Cowboys look to be on a mission. But, that’s not very impressive when you realize it was over the New York Giants. The Cowboys beat the Giants 89-17 in two meetings this season. Dallas has scored 40+ in three of their six wins this season.

Dak Prescott is up to 2,415 passing yards and 17 touchdowns on the season. CeeDee Lamb is ready to go over 1,000 yards on the season, as he needs just 25. Those two are why the Cowboys come into this game as the 7th best passing team in the league, with 261.2 yards per game. Dallas also is second to Miami in points scored.

The Cowboys will take on the Commanders on Thanksgiving Day, to start a three game home stand. Following that, the Seahawks and Eagles come to town. The Cowboys have a stretch of games against Seattle, Philadelphia, Buffalo and Miami upcoming.

The Dallas Cowboys are going to win this game. The question is – how bad are they going to win this game? Look for a little bit of a let down for Carolina. This is not the third string New York Giants. This is the Panthers, with a rookie quarterback looking to prove himself.

The Cowboys have a short turnaround, so if they get ahead, they may rest some guys. The Cowboys win the game, but the Panthers cover the spread. Take the Carolina Panthers +11.5 over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in the National Football League.
