Big Struggles for Pistons
For Detroit, it has not been a very exciting basketball season. The Pistons find themselves in the same continual losing situation, game after game. The Pistons are scoring just 112.9 points per game, which is 23rd in the league. Detroit is 29th in three pointers made in a game with 11.2 per game.
The Pistons top scorer has been Cade Cunningham. The former Oklahoma State star has played in 45 games this season for Detroit. He is scoring more than 22 points pre game, and dishing out a team high 7.5 assists per game. Jaden Ivey is second on the team with 15.2 points per game.
Detroit is on the road at Chicago following this game to end the month. The month of March starts at home against Cleveland, and then on the road for back to back games at the Magic and Heat.
Knicks Need to Find the Winning Way Again
The New York Knicks need the win on Thursday to snap a tough losing streak to end the first half. But, then they were no challenge to the top team in the league at the Garden on Saturday. New York allowed 116 points in the loss; and in four out of their last five losses, they have allowed 116 or more.
Jalen Brunson is the top scorer for the Knights. The point guard has played in 53 games, and is scoring more than 27.5 points per game. New York has been missing the services of Julius Randle, who has not played since January 287 with a shoulder injury.
The Knicks will finish February at home against the Pelicans and Warriors. Once March arrives, they will start in Cleveland against the Cavaliers, before coming home again to host the Hawks, Magic and 76ers twice.
Knicks Bounce Back at Home
