Duke Blue Devils at Miami Hurricanes Betting Preview

For Miami, it has been a massive struggle. The Hurricanes have dropped four straight games, and are 15-11 on the season. Over their last ten games, Miami has won just three of them. The Hurricanes lost at Boston College on Saturday.

Blue Devils Seeking to Stay Hot

The Duke Blue Devils are seeking their fifth straight win. Duke has wins during the winning streak over Notre Dame, Boston College, Wake Forest and Florida State. During the winning streak, the Blue Devils are winning by an average of 12.5 points per game. On the season, Duke is scoring 80.3 points per game, which is 40th in the country.

Kyle Filipowski, Jeremy Roach, Jared McClian, Mark Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor are all scoring double digits per game for Duke. Filipwski is first with 17 per game, while Roach is adding 14 per game. The big man is also adding 8.3 rebounds per game. Duke is 29th in the country in team field goal percentage at 48% and 37.6% from downtown.

Struggles Remain for Hurricanes

For Miami, they have not won a game since their 82-74 game on February 3rd over Virginia Tech. The Hurricanes scored just 38 points in a loss at Virginia, and most recently allowed Boston College to score 85 in the 8 point loss.

Norchad Omier is having a nice season for the Hurricanes. He is scoring nearly 18 points per game, and ripping down 10 rebounds per game. The Hurricanes have three other guys scoring double digits per game. As a team, Miami is scoring 77.9 points per game, and making nine three point shots.

The Hurricanes will host Georgia Tech on February 24th, and then go on the road on February 26th to North Carolina. The final two games for Miami are at home against Boston College, and then back on the road at Florida State.

Duke Tops Miami

It has been just a poor season for Coach Larranaga and the Miami Hurricanes. Nothing seems to be going right, and they are banged up. Duke seems to be putting it all together. The Blue Devils are one of the teams that are going a little overlooked when it comes to winning it all.

Duke puts it together and wins this game on the road. The Hurricanes just cannot keep up with the Blue Devils on the offensive side. Take Duke -5.5 over Miami on Wednesday!
