The Liberty Flames and Oregon Ducks will meet up on Monday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona. The Liberty Flames are unbeaten, at 13-0 on the season. The Flames won Conference USA with a 49-35 win over New Mexico State in their season finale.

Liberty is looking to close the season as one of the lone unbeaten teams in College Football. For Oregon, they come into the game with a 11-2 mark. The Ducks lost to the Washington Huskies in the Pac-12 title game. Oregon is a huge favorite in this game.

The Ducks are listed at -16.5 over Liberty.

Liberty Flames High Powered Offense

One of the teams talked about a bunch in the world of College Football is the Liberty Flames. What a season the Flames have had, as they look to make it 14 in a row. The Flames won games by an average of 40.8 to 22.7. The Flames were the best rushing team in all of College Football this season.

302.9 yards per game on the ground. It was anchored by Quinton Cooley. Cooley was solid in the conference title game, rushing for three touchdowns. On the season, he finished with 16. Quarterback Kaidon Salter was next with 12 on the season. The Flames scored a total of 39 rushing touchdowns in 2023.

Salter and Cooley are both expected to play in this game, as well as receivers CJ Daniels and Treon Sibley. They combined for 59 receptions and nearly 1,500 receiving yards, along with 14 touchdowns. Daniels is 12 yards shy of 1,000 on his own.

The Flames won 11 of their 13 games by double digits this season. Liberty also had six of their last seven games where they scored 40+ points.

Oregon Ducks Flying High

When talking offense, the Oregon Ducks are a good place to start. The Ducks are scoring 44.2 points per game, which was the second most in College Football. But, they are not just an offensive juggernaut, they have also been sensational on defense as well. The Ducks are allowing teams to score just 17.3 per game.

When on offense, they are doing it with a different style than the Flames. Oregon is passing for more than 342 yards per game. Quarterback Bo Nix was one of the contenders for the Heisman, as he finished with more than 4,100 on the season. Nix will play in this game, his final collegiate game, but he will be without his top target Troy Franklin. Franklin caught 14 touchdowns on the season.

Bucky Irving is the top running back option for Oregon. Irving will play in this game as well, despite his intentions of heading for the NFL Draft. Irving had over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.

Ducks and Flames

The Liberty Flames are proud of their season, and would love to be able to say they won every game all season. But, the Oregon Ducks have different plans for them. The Ducks are deep and talented. Their depth will be put on display here.

Look for the Ducks to lead for most of the game, but Liberty to continue taking shots and striking gold. Liberty is going to keep this game within striking distance.

Our final bet for this game is the Liberty Flames +16.5 over the Oregon Ducks. Oregon wins 45-37 over the Flames.
