Final Preseason NFL MVP Betting Odds
It is the final days before the start of the 2023 National Football League season. It’s time to wrap up all your preseason bets for the 2023 season.
The preseason action is over, and Thursday Night Football will be here soon. One of the preseason awards you should be wrapping up your betting with is the Most Valuable Player award.
The odds have changed throughout the preseason; let’s take a look at the final preseason NFL MVP Betting Odds.
Patrick Mahomes +600
The winner of this award a season ago with more than 5,200 yards passing. His team also won the AFC and were Super Bowl Champions. Mahomes led the National Football League with 41 passing touchdowns.
This guy is a stud and will have his boy Travis Kelce back at the tight end position. One of the best security blankets in the league, Mahomes will make sure he finds him a big guy early and often. Mahomes comes into the season as the favorite at +600.
Joe Burrow +750
There was an injury concern with the Bengals quarterback, but he appears to be ready to go. The former LSU sign caller finished last season with 35 touchdowns, only behind Patrick Mahomes.
Burrow has what many consider the best trio of receivers in the league, with Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Body, and Tee Higgins. This offense is going to be fun to watch in 2023.
Josh Allen +850
Sticking with the stud quarterbacks here. In fact, the top guys on the list are all quarterbacks. Another guy that had a monster 2022 season. Allen finished with over 4,200 yards and 35 touchdowns.
That touchdowns were tied with Burrow for second, and only behind Mahomes. There is a big question mark with Stefon Diggs, but if they can get that figured out, this offense should continue to click throughout the season.
Jalen Hurts +1100
Hurts used his legs to dominate a ton of the season in 2022, but with his weapons, his arm continues to improve. Hurts was 10th a season ago in passing yards, and may expect him to potentially move into the Top 5 this season.
AJ Brown and Devonta Smith are big-time weapons, and this team is defending NFC Champions for a reason. Hurts will be a pleasure to watch in Philadelphia. He comes into the season at 11/1.
Justin Herbert +1200
The Chargers signal caller is due for a monster season. The Chargers are in a make-or-break type season. After reaching the postseason a year ago, they are looking to make that extra step this season.
Brandon Staley will be coaching for his job and will need to get the ball in the hands of his best weapon. Herbert is that weapon and will look to surpass his 4,739 passing yards of a season ago.
Lamar Jackson +1500
Jackson and his multiple weapons with the passing game and the running game got paid in the offseason, and now is ready to show the team and the league he is the real deal. Jackson comes into the season as sixth in the MVP odds, at 15/1.
Look for the Ravens to be a threat in the AFC and compete with the Chiefs, Bills, and Bengals. Jackson will start the season with a major chip on his shoulders.
