Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans Betting Pick

The Los Angeles Chargers and Tennessee Titans are set to square off in a battle of winless teams on Sunday. The Los Angeles Chargers were at home but fell short in a high-scoring affair against the Miami Dolphins.

For Tennessee, they played in a tight one but also came up short on the road at the New Orleans Titans. The Los Angeles Chargers come into this game as the favorite. You can get the Chargers at -3 over the Titans on Sunday.

Chargers Seeking Defensive Shoes

The biggest takeaway from the Chargers’ Week One loss was their inability to get off the field when they needed to. Sure, much of that may have had to do with Tua and his Dolphins offense, but Los Angeles will need to be better. The Chargers allowing 36 points is not a recipe for success in the long term.

The Chargers are excited about their ability to run the football. Los Angeles went with 234 yards on the ground in the opener. That was the best in all of the National Football League. Austin Ekeler was the main cog in that, as he took 16 carries and rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown. Justin Herbert also rushed for 18 yards, along with his 228 passing.

Los Angeles is playing their first road game of the 2023 season. Following this game, the Chargers will remain on the road at the Minnesota Vikings. In Week Four, Los Angeles gets their first divisional foe, taking on the Raiders.

Questions All Over for the Titans

After Week One, there are questions all over the roster for the Tennessee Titans. One of them is the split between Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears at running back. Spears was a third-round pick out of Tulane. As the game went on, Spears appeared to be on the field more than Henry. Henry finished with 63 yards but on just 15 carries, with most of those coming in.

Another question will be – Can the Titans get anyone open outside of DeAndre Hopkins? He had seven receptions and 65 of the 198 passing yards the Titans threw.

The third question will be – is Ryan Tannehill still the guy going forward? Remember, Malik Willis is in town, and the Titans drafted Kentucky’s Will Levis. Tannehill did not throw a touchdown in the loss.

Tennessee will visit Cleveland in Week 3 before hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4. A trip to Indianapolis in Week Five will be the first divisional game for the Colts this season.

Chargers Top Titans in Week Two

Justin Herbert and the Chargers know they need to keep pace and get a win. A home loss stings slightly, but grabbing a road win would even it out. The Chargers are ready to take on the challenge known as Derrick Henry.

Look for the Chargers to slow Henry down and score many points on the Titans’ defense. The final bet to make in this game on Sunday is the Los Angeles Chargers -3 over the Tennessee Titans.
