George has stayed relatively healthy through this offseason, but the true leader of the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard, has been sidelined.
Usually, this means the remaining players begin to elevate their game, knowing the implications if they fail to produce, but Los Angeles seems stuck looking for a savior. If they want any chance at winning on Monday, they’ll have to band together as a team, and players not known for scoring will have to do exactly that.
The Suns can get some much-needed rest with a win on Monday
If the Suns can secure a win at home on Monday, they’ll have plenty of time to rest before facing the Eastern Conference Champions in the NBA Finals. The series between the Bucks and the Hawks is only at the fourth game, and the series could easily go to seven games. However, Phoenix can’t write off the Clippers too quickly.
The Suns did something odd on Saturday, and that was struggling to make shots. SG Devin Booker, usually automatic from the field, shot 8 for 22, an unusual outing for him. The resurgence of PG Chris Paul, however, has put the Suns right where they need to be, on the cusp of their first Finals visit in 28 years.

The only reason one should take the Clippers here is how close these games have been through this series. The largest margin of victory was fourteen points, and that win went to the Clippers. The rest of these games have stayed very close, and with the Clippers understanding they’re on the brink of elimination, expect them to play a much better game on Monday.
