Anthony Davis has fallen behind James in scoring, but at 24.9 per game. James is averaging just shy of 8 assists per game, while Davis is ripping down more than 12 rebounds per game. The Lakers are 13th in the league with 116.9 points per game. They are making nearly 50% of their shots.
Next for the Lakers is a home game on Thursday against the WIzards. In March, the Lakers will welcome the Nuggets, Thunder, Kings, Bucks and Timberwolves to town. The next road game is March 13th in Sacramento.
Clippers Also Looking to Bounce Back
It was not a great night for the Clippers at home with the Kings in town. The Kings won the final three quarters of the game and cruised to a 16 point win. In the loss, the Clippers saw Kawhi Leonard drop 20 points and rip down 8 rebounds. On the season, Leonard is averaging 23.9 points per game.
Paul George is adding to the fun with 22.1 points per game, while James Harden is adding more than 17 per game. Los Angeles is 10th in the league, scoring more than 117 points per game. The Clippers have the fifth best three point percentage in all of the league. They are making over 39% from downtown.
The Clippers will host the Wizards on Friday, before heading out on the road. They will take trips to Minneapolis, Milwaukee and Houston. The next home game will be March 9th against the Bulls.
