Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers Betting Preview

Two of the top teams in the NFC will square off Sunday afternoon as the Los Angeles Rams (7-3) collide with the Green Bay Packers (8-3). The Packers will host this one at Lambeau Field, with kickoff scheduled for 4:25 pm ET.

The Rams are trying to break a two-game losing streak Sunday after dropping a pair of games to the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers. In their most recent loss to the 49ers, Matthew Stafford threw for 243 yards and a touchdown, but he also had two interceptions.

The Packers are also coming off of a loss as they dropped last week’s game 34-31 to the Minnesota Vikings. In the loss, Aaron Rodgers threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns, but the defense couldn’t find an answer for the Vikings’ offense.

The Rams are the slight favorites despite playing on the road. They are -116 to win while the Packers’ moneyline sits at -102. The spread features Green Bay +1 (-110), and the over/under for total points is 47.

More Odds

The Rams have the second-best odds of winning the NFC West at +340. Despite their loss to the Vikings last week, the Packers still hold a 2.5-game lead and are the favorites at -800 to win the NFC North.

In terms of the Super Bowl, the Rams have the fifth-best odds of winning it all at +900. The Packers have the sixth-best odds of winning Super Bowl LVI at +1000.

By The Numbers

The Rams have been the stronger of the two teams offensively. They rank seventh in scoring, averaging 27.1 points per game. The Packers rank 18th, averaging 22.5 points (25.8 at home).

Defensively, it is the Packers that hold the advantage. They rank fifth in scoring defense, allowing opponents just 19.5 points per game (11 at home). The Rams rank 14th allowing 22.7 points.

Rams Trying To Snap Losing Streak

After winning four games in a row, the Rams have now lost back-to-back games and are looking to snap their losing streak Sunday. Unfortunately, they have the unenviable task of having to take on Green Bay at Lambeau Field.

Leading the way for the Rams on offense is quarterback Matthew Stafford. This season, he has thrown for 3,014 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.

Stafford’s favorite target has been Cooper Kupp. He leads the team with 85 receptions, 1,141 yards receiving, and ten touchdowns.

With Robert Woods out for the year, the other main targets include Van Jefferson (487 yards, three touchdowns), Tyler Higbee (344 yards, three touchdowns), and newcomer Odell Beckham Jr.

The Rams currently rank fifth in the NFL in passing yards per game at 289.3.

Packers Look To Bounce Back After NFC North Loss

The Packers hold a comfortable 2.5-game lead in the NFC North, but last week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings showed they can be vulnerable. While the offense did its part, the defense had an uncharacteristic letdown.

Behind Aaron Rodgers, the Packers will look to bounce back against a tough Rams team. For Rodgers, he has thrown for 2,571 yards, 21 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He has also rushed for another two scores.

Rodgers continues to trust and look for wide receiver Davante Adams over all others. The star wideout has 979 yards receiving and five touchdowns.

On the ground, the Packers took a small blow with the injury to Aaron Jones, but A.J. Dillon (474 yards rushing, two touchdowns) is a more than capable backup.

Take Green Bay To Win At Home

These are two of the best teams in the NFC, and both are in need of a win on Sunday. Still, it is hard to ignore the home-field advantage.

The Packers are 4-0 when playing at Lambeau Field this year and are 10-1 at home in their last 11. Against the Rams, they are 5-1 in their last six home games.

The Rams are solid on the road (4-1), but it is hard to bet against Aaron Rodgers at home, especially when he is the underdog.

Take Green Bay to win straight up.
