Louisville Cardinals vs. Florida State Seminoles Betting Pick – ACC Title Game

The Louisville Cardinals and Florida State Seminoles are set to meet up in Charlotte for the Atlantic Coast Conference title game. The Louisville Cardinals come into the game second in the conference, and 10-2 overall this season. The Cardinals fell in their game last week to Kentucky in a rivalry game. The other loss for the Cardinals this season was to Pittsburgh.

Florida State comes into the game with a perfect 12-0 record. The Seminoles ran the table in the conference and won the last two games without the services of their starting quarterback Jordan Travis. Travis is out for the season with an injury. Last week, Florida State topped Florida in a rivalry game. The Florida State Seminoles are favorites in this game. Florida State is listed at -2.5 over the Louisville Cardinals.

Great First Season for Brohm at Louisville

The Cardinals ended the regular season with a thud, losing in that game to Kentucky. It’s still been a fantastic season for Jeff Brohm and his Cardinals. Louisville had won four straight games, winning by an average of 17 points per game. On the season, the Cardinals are scoring 33 points per game, and allowing 20 per game. Those are both in the Top 35 of College Football.

The passing game for Louisville is averaging 255.1 yards per game. Jack Plummer has been the signal caller for Louisville. He needs just 48 yards to reach 3,000 on the season, and has 21 touchdowns. His top target has been Jamari Thrash, with 801 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

Jawhar Jordan is one of the top running backs in all of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Jordan rushed 167 times for 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.

New Quarterback for Seminoles

Jordan Travis was cruising to a sensational season before his injury. Now, the Seminoles have turned to Tate Rodemaker to lead the way. Since he has come in under center, he has completed 32 of 56 passes for 510 yards and five touchdowns. Before Travis was hurt, he had 20 touchdowns to just two interceptions.

Keon Coleman has been impressive for the Seminoles. The former Michigan State receiver has 639 yards and 11 touchdowns. The next most is two for the Seminoles via the passing game. On the ground, Trey Benson would need 162 yards to reach 1,000 on the season. Benson leads the team with 14 touchdowns.

Florida State won just two games this season against teams that were ranked. The first was against LSU and the second was in conference play, at home against Duke.

Louisville Wins ACC Title

No disrespect to the Florida State Seminoles, but the Louisville Cardinals are going to be ready to go in this game. They did not look great last week, but a classic example of looking ahead. Louisville would love to be the first team to knock the Seminoles off. Look for Louisville to speed up the backup quarterback and force him into uncomfortable spots. Coach Brohm wins an ACC title in his season. Take Louisville +115 on the moneyline over Florida State on Saturday.
