The defending national champion Connecticut Huskies have been all but flawless this season. They lost at Kansas in nonconference play, and then on the road at Seton Hall in late December. Since that loss to the Pirates, it has been smooth sailing. The Huskies have won four out of their last six games by double digits.

Since then, the Golden Eagles have been rolling. Much like the Huskies, Marquette has been winning games by double digits, 5 of 8 during this stretch.
Marquette is winning with great defense and timely scoring. The Golden Eagles are also nailing nearly nine three-point shots per game. Tyler Kolek is the key offensively for Marquette. The point guard is scoring 16.1 points per game and dishing out 7.4 assists per game.
The Golden Eagles will head home after this game and play three straight home games. First, they welcome DePaul to town, before visits from Xavier and Providence. In March, the Golden Eagles are at Creighton, home against UConn and then will finish on the road at Xavier.
