Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics Betting Preview

After falling in a 1-0 hole to start the series, the Milwaukee Bucks have gone ahead and won two straight games over the Boston Celtics. They are in control of the series now with a 2-1 lead and are looking to grab another win on the road before the series shifts back to Milwaukee. Boston has really struggled to slow down the offense of Milwaukee, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo running the show, it might be tough for the Celtics to win another game in the series. Boston is at home tonight though, and they are looking to take a pivotal Game 4 matchup. The Celtics are favored by 1.5 points and the over/under is 220.5 points.

Bucks Want to Win This One

In Game 3 the Bucks depth was on full display even though Eric Bledsoe and Brook Lopez were held to just 16 points combined on the night. George Hill scored 21 points off the bench, and Pat Connaughton added 14 points. If the Bucks continue to get players off the bench to perform like this, it is going to be tough to stop them in the playoffs.

When the starters produce, and the bench guys come in and play a big role the Bucks are nearly unbeatable. Giannis led the way in Game 3 as usual. He had 32 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists. When he is playing well, and the bench is rolling, no one can beat this team.

Celtics Trying to Survive

Kyrie Irving once again led the team with 29 points in Game 3, but it wasn’t enough. He was not efficient at all gaining those 29 points on just 8-of-22 shooting from the floor. It was his second bad offensive game in a row, and to win this game, he is going to have to turn it around. The officiating in Game 3 was slowing the game down, which isn’t good for the Celtics. They want to run with the ball, and the Bucks don’t. A slower-paced game does not favor the home team.

Boston did shoot the ball really well from beyond the arc in Game 3 and will have to continue that pace if they are hoping to bring home a win in Game 4. Shooting 40 percent from deep is solid, and they will have to keep that up if they are looking for a win.

Bucks Stay Hot With Win

The Bucks are hoping that they can take down the Celtics again on the road and make Game 5 in Milwaukee a series-deciding game. The Bucks have a ton of momentum, and the Celtics have not been able to stop them on offense. They are playing like the better team right now and have all the momentum in the series. Look for the Celtics to make this one a close game, but the Bucks pull it out. Take the Bucks to cover the 1.5-point spread and head back home with a 3-1 series lead.
