Minnesota Timberwolves at Dallas Mavericks Game 4 Betting Pick

On Tuesday, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks will meet up for Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. The Minnesota Timberwolves are in big trouble, as they trail the series 3-0 after another loss on Saturday. The winner of this series will head to the NBA Finals and take on either Boston or Indiana. The Celtics lead the series 3-0.

Minnesota was fighting for the top seed in the Western Conference all season. The Timberwolves came up a game short, and finished with a 56-26 record. The Timberwolves took down Phoenix in four games, and then used all seven to knock off the top seeded Denver Nuggets. Now, the Timberwolves will have to win four in a row to keep their season alive.

For Dallas, they are a win away from reaching the NBA Finals. Dallas went 50-32 during the regular season. That was fifth in the Western Conference. The Mavericks took down the Clippers in six games in round 1, and then needed six to take out the top seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Dallas Mavericks are -3.5 in this game at home. The total for this affair is set at 209.5.

Timberwolves on the Ropes

Minnesota got 26 points from their young star Anthony Edwards, but it was not enough. Edwards was a star in the first few rounds, but has fallen off a bit in this series.  Six Minnesota players scored double digits in the game. Karl Anthony Towns finished with a double double, with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Timberwolves made just nine three pointers in the game. Towns struggled from there, as he went 0 for 8 from downtown. During the regular season, Minnesota was 15th in the league with 12.6 three pointers made per game. The Timberwolves scored 113 points per game, also right in the middle of the league.

Edwards had a monster season for Minnesota, with more than 25 points per game. Towns was second on the team with 21.8 per game, while Rudy Gobert was third on the team with 14 points per game. Gobert also led the team with 12.9 rebounds per game.

Big Guards Stepping Up

Dallas got a combined 66 points from Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. Both had 33, and the Mavericks stayed red hot. Irving went 12 for 20 from the field, while Luka was 10 for 20. They both have been outstanding this series, as Luka has scored 32.6 per game, and Irving at 27.6 per game.

The Mavericks have also enjoyed the contributions they are getting from big man PJ Washington. Washington, who came over in a trade, scored 16 points and ripped down 8 rebounds in the Game 3 win. Washington went three straight games in the series against Oklahoma with 21+ points in each.

Dallas will look to finish this series off, and likely head to Boston. The Mavericks and Celtics last played on March 1st in Boston. The Celtics won that game by 28 points. The first meeting between the two was also a Boston win, 119-110.

Dallas Sweeps Minnesota

This series is over. Luka Doncic and the Mavericks are going to move to the NBA Finals with a sweep. It appears that the Minnesota Timberwolves magic has run out a little here. Dallas is the better team in this series. We like Dallas to get the job done.

Our final bet for this game on Tuesday is the Dallas Mavericks -3.5 over the Minnesota Timberwolves. We want to wish you the best of luck with all your National Basketball Association betting. Enjoy the game!
