NBA Betting Preview: Milwaukee Bucks at Detroit Pistons Betting Preview

On Monday night, the Milwaukee Bucks will face off against the Detroit Pistons in Detroit in game 4 of their 1st round series. The Bucks are up 3-0 and have won the first 3 games by an average of 24 points. They are the 1-seed in the East and are expected to make the finals. Detroit is the 8-seed and has not looked good this series and are overmatched in every way.

Top Seed for A Reason

The Bucks won game 3 by a score of 119-103. They led by 22 heading into the 4th quarter and were able to rest some of their starters in the final frame. Many people think this is a 1-man team, but they have a lot more pieces than Giannis. Khris Middleton led the way with 20 points to go with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Brook Lopez and Eric Bledsoe each had 19 points and a combined 13 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 14 points and led the team with 10 rebounds. George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova, and Nikola Mirotic combined for 38 points off the bench.

The Bucks are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who is averaging 21.3 points and 13 rebounds which leads the team. Bledsoe and Middleton are tied for the team lead with 5.3 assists per game. Brook Lopez tallies 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds a game. Pat Connaughton chips in 10.7 points a game and George Hill adds 10.3 per contest. The Bucks are averaging 120 points per game on the season.

Detroit Trying to Hang On

The Pistons have struggled mightily and have not been close in any game of the series. Blake Griffin had a good game in game 3. He scored 27 points on 10 of 24 shooting to go with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Reggie Jackson scored 15 points to go with 6 rebounds and a team-high 8 assists. Wayne Ellington chipped in 13 points on 4 of 9 shooting. Andre Drummond recorded a double-double with 12 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Ish Smith tallied 11 points on 4 of 13 shooting off the bench.

The Pistons are led by Blake Griffin who is averaging 27 points a game to go with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. He is followed by Luke Kennard who is scoring 16.3 a game. Reggie Jackson averages 15 points a game to go with a team-high 7 assists a game. Andre Drummond leads the team in rebounding with 13.3 a game to go with 14 points per contest. The Pistons do not have any more double-digit scorers and are averaging just 96 points per game this season.

Bucks Stop Pistons Season

The Bucks come in at -12.5. Milwaukee has absolutely dismantled the Pistons in every game this series and I don’t see that changing here. Blake Griffin is the only one getting things done on the offensive end and that is not enough against these Bucks. Milwaukee will get out to another big lead early and will cruise into the second round of the playoffs with a 20+ point victory here. Take the Bucks -12.5.
