The game of the year in College Football is set to take place on Saturday, as the Ohio State Buckeyes are on the road at the Michigan Wolverines. These two teams are playing for the right to play in the Big Ten Championship game next weekend against Iowa. They are also looking to remain unbeaten on the season.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are 10-0 following their blowout win over the Golden Gophers of Minnesota. For Michigan, they are also 11-0. The Wolverines beat Maryland last weekend. The Michigan Wolverines come into this game as the small favorite. Michigan is listed at -3.5 over the Buckeyes on Saturday.

Buckeyes Come in as Road Underdogs

Ohio State has been down right dominant as of late. In their last four wins, the Buckeyes have allowed just a total of 32 points. The last close game Ohio STate had was a 20-12 win at home over Ohio State. Prior to that, they beat Notre Dame by three points. The rest of their 11 wins have come by double figures.

The Buckeyes are scoring 33.3 points per game, and allowing just 9.9 per game. Kyle McCord has been outstanding as the signal caller, with 20 touchdown passes. In the win over Minnesota, he finished the game with 212 yards and two touchdown passes. His favorite target this season has been Marvin Harrison Jr. with 59 receptions, 1,063 yards and 12 touchdowns.

TreVeyon Henderson was the man on the ground against Minnesota, and has been all season. He went over 100 carries on the season, and has 648 yards and 8 touchdowns. The Buckeyes, obviously, are hoping for a win in this one, and then a date with Iowa in the Big Ten title game, before a trip to the College Football Playoff.

Defensive Shoes for Wolverines

For Michigan, they are the only team that has been better defensively than the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Wolverines allowed more than 20 points for the first time all season in the win on the road at Maryland. Michigan is allowing just 7.5 points per game.

On the offensive side, J.J. Mccarthy and Blake Corum have been the go to guys, with Roman Wilson as well. McCarthy has tossed for 2,194 yards and 18 touchdowns, with 10 of them coming to Wilson. Corum is 206 yards shy of 1,000 on the season, but has a NCAA high 18 touchdowns on the season.

The win on Saturday was the 1,000th in school history. The program has a bunch of controversy surrounding them, as their head coach Jim Harbaugh remains suspended for the second time this season. Sherrone Moore, has been the interim head coach the last two games.

Wolverines Top Buckeyes

What a rivalry! What a game this should be. The Wolverines and the Buckeyes. No long lost for these two teams, and programs. This is a monster game, and will give one a leg up on the College Football Playoff. Even the team that loses, will still have a chance, but will need some help.

We look for the running game of Michigan to be the factor, as there is just a slim margin difference between these two teams. We are going to bet the Michigan Wolverines to win this game narrowly over Ohio State. Take Michigan 21-17 on Saturday in a thriller in Ann Arbor.
