Buckeyes Looking to Make it Two in a Row
The Buckeyes started the month of February a little snake bitten. The Buckeyes lost at Iowa by two points and at home to Indiana by three. Both games could have been wins for Ohio State. That made the four point win over Maryland even more important on Saturday.
On the season, Ohio State is scoring 75.3 points per game. The offense has not been great, and neither has the defense. That accounts for why the Buckeyes are near the bottom of the Big Ten standings. The top scorer for Ohio State has been Bruce Thornton, with 15.8 points per game.
Ohio State will go back home after this, but things will get no easier. They will play host to Purdue. After that, they are on the road for two more games. The Buckeyes are at Minnesota and then at Michigan State. The final February game for Ohio State is at home against Nebraska.
Badgers Want to Stop the Bleeding
The month of February has not been kind to Greg Gard and his Wisconsin Badgers. They have four straight losses, with the first three coming by an average of 6 points per game. The 22 point blowout loss at Rutgers is obviously a major cause of concern.
