Philadelphia is coming off their bye last week. For the Kansas City Chiefs, they are 7-2. They have the best record in the AFC. They are also coming off their bye from last week. Before the bye, the Chiefs beat the Dolphins in Germany.
The Kansas City Chiefs are at home, which gives them a slight advantage. The Chiefs are -2.5 over the Eagles on Monday.
Eagles Looking to Make it 9 out of 10
The Philadelphia Eagles have just the one loss on the season, which came to the New York Jets in an ugly, grind it out style game. That was the only game this season that the Eagles have scored less than 20 points in a game. The Eagles will be without their top tight end, in Dallas Goedert. He fractured his forearm, and will miss some time.
That likely just means more chances for A.J. Brown. The talented receiver has 1,005 yards receiving on 67 receptions and six touchdowns. D’Andre Swift will need to be a big part of this game. The top running back for the Eagles has 614 yards and three touchdowns on 155 carries. Jalen Hurts will need to protect the football. Turnovers will be deadly in a game like this. Hurts has 8 interceptions in 9 games.
After this game, the Philadelphia Eagles will go home and continue a brutal part of their schedule. They will host Buffalo and San Francisco back to back, before trips to Dallas and Seattle. The schedule softens in the final three with games home and away against the Cardinals, with a home game against Arizona sandwiched in between.
Mahomes to Kelce and Pray for Rain?
The Patrick Mahomes to Travis Kelce plan has worked for the most part again in 2023. Travis Kelce continues to put up sensational numbers. He missed the opener, yet still has 57 receptions on the season. Rashee Rice is next, but has yet to even reach 400 yards. Rice does have four touchdowns, along with Jerick McKinnon having 3.
The Chiefs will turn to Isiah Pacheco to carry the football more than not. Pacheco has 525 yards and three touchdowns. Kansas City as a team just have four rushing touchdowns the entire season.
The Chiefs go to Las Vegas and Green Bay for the next two weekends, and then will come back home to host the Buffalo Bills on December 10th.

What a game this should be. On one side you have the no nonsense style of football for the Philadelphia Eagles against the flashy, but talented and successful Kansas City Chiefs. The youngster in Nick Siriani and the veteran from Kansas City in Andy Reid. Patrick Mahomes under center for the Chiefs against Jalen Hurts of the Eagles. Travis Kelce on one side and AJ Brown on the other. Both Kelce brothers in the same game. Taylor Swift in attendance?
Anyways – what a game this should be. We expect it to go back and forth, but we are actually going to take the road team. The Eagles go to Kansas City and win this game. They just have more weapons.
