Sacramento Kings at Oklahoma City Thunder Betting Preview

Sacramento has won their last three games as they try to make the improbable playoff push. With Buddy Hield coming off the bench, they have a great scorer that’s instantly ready to perform. While he is probably unhappy with it, the team is playing better with Bogdan as a starter.

It’s unfortunate that they are without both Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley, but Harry Giles is playing some fantastic ball at the center spot, with Alex Len bringing positive energy off the bench since coming back.

Oklahoma City, on the other hand, has slid into the #5 spot in the conference now, ahead of the Jazz. And if they can continue to play as well as they have (most wins in the conference over the past three months), then they will have the opportunity to move as high as #2 in the crowded West.

They are only four games back as it is now, and with the talent here, they could make it happen. One of the most entertaining teams to watch in the league this year, OKC is looking to slow the Kings down.

The spread for tonight’s game has OKC favored by seven points, the over/under set at 223.

Kings looking for fourth win in a row

Sacramento is lead in scoring by now sixth man Buddy Hield, who is averaging better than 20 points per contest. He’s leading eight different players averaging in double-digits, Kent Bazemore starting to pick his game up like we haven’t seen since his early days in Atlanta.

De’Aaron Fox has been playing his best ball of the season during the recent stretch, with Harrison Barnes scoring points at the same rate we saw from him in Dallas. He is somebody they probably overpaid, but as long as he is producing for them, nothing to complain about here.

One thing they certainly don’t lack in is depth. At any of the five positions, they can insert multiple guys in and still get plenty of production. We’ll see if they can carve out a role for Jabari Parker, who had been averaging nearly 17 points in Atlanta.

Thunder looking to keep it rolling

This was a team that was projected to have a 0.1% chance at making the postseason by ESPN BPI coming into the year. And now, they have a serious chance at finishing with a top-four record in a crowded West.

Chris Paul has not only proven that he isn’t done yet, but he’s played an All-Star level all season and leads the league in several clutch categories. Dennis Schroder has been a beast off the bench, and SGA is playing some great ball in his first year here. No Russ, no PG, no Jerami Grant… well, no problem.

They’re favored at home tonight, and if they can start strong, another win is coming to them.

OKC wins a nailbiter
