SPORTS NEWS: Betting Odds to win 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year in the National Football League

With the preseason action in the National Football League underway, it’s time to start seeing some of the players in action on the field. One of the biggest questions that come up during off-season action is what rookie will impress the most. Today, we are going to discuss the offensive side of the equation. Let’s take a look at the latest Betting Odds to win the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year in the National Football League. Let’s take a look:

Bijan Robinson +275

What an absolute stud in College. Playing at the University of Texas, he was impossible to take down on the first try. Now, Robinson is going to get the starting role with the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have a ton to prove, but play in a very winnable division – the NFC South.

Desmond Ridder is going to need someone to relay on, but the question is – will the Falcons use Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson in conjunction with him? It will be interesting to see his usage early on, but there is no doubt that he is certainly going to be a problem. Robinson is the favorite to win the award at +275.

Bryce Young +500

The former Alabama signal caller is going to be the starter in Carolina. He is ahead of Andy Dalton, and it does not appear that the Panthers are in a hurry to play the aging veteran over their first round draft pick. There is going to be a learning curve big time for Young, but the talent is definitely there.

Can he use his weapons with D.J. Chark and Adam Thielen enough to keep the offense moving? Another NFC South team, the Panthers have plenty of opportunities, as the division is wide open.

Anthony Richardson +600

The rookie is certainly in a tough spot playing for a team that has question marks galore. First, who is goign to run the football for the Colts. Second, is Richardson even going to get on the field this season? Indianapolis is showing all accounts that they are going to start Gardner Minshew.

What is it going to take to get the former Gators signal caller on the field? It’s certainly a question, and one interesting to follow. His 6/1 odds don’t seem great if he doesn’t see the field early on.

CJ Stroud +800

Unlike Richardson, Stroud should get a chance right away. Stroud is projected to get the starting job for the Houston Texans. Houston, like Indianapolis is looking at another bad season. What will Stroud do with a lack of weapons? Robert Woods is the best receiver on the team, and his health seems to always be in question. Stroud comes into the season at 8/1 odds to win the event.

Jahmyr Gibbs +1000

The Lions chose to go without Jamaal Williams and DeAndre Swift to give Gibbs the opportunity. Detroit also has David Montgomery at the running back spot, so it will be interesting to see the time split between the two. Gibbs is out of Georgia Tech, and may be a little unknown as the Yellow Jackets were not a household team in College Football. 10/1 odds for a stud running back isn’t too bad here.

Jaxon Smith-Njiba +1500

The second Ohio State offensive rookie in the odds here. He was incredible with Ohio State a season ago, catching 15 catches in a single game, and finishing with more than 1,600 yards in 2021. The 21 year old will go to a spot where he is going to get plenty of chances. DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are going to get plenty of chances, which could leave the rookie open for opportunities to not only make catches, but get into the end zone. This is actually our pick to win this event.

Others in Consideration:

Jordan Addison +1700
Quentin Johnston +2200
Zay Flowers +3000
Rashee Rice +3500
Devon Achane +3500
Will Levis +4000

In the end – we are going with Jaxon Smith-Njiba at 15/1 odds to win this. This should be a fun award to track. We hope you enjoyed a look at the Offensive Rookie of the Year award odds, as we head into the National Football League season. Best of luck with all your NFL betting and enjoy the season!
