The Jayhawks used 25 points from their big man Hunter Dickinson to stave off Eastern Illinois in their first game back from Hawaii. The former Michigan star also ripped down 13 rebounds. Dickinson leads the Jayhawks with 21.7 points per game. K.J. Adams is adding 10.9 per game, while point guard Dajuan Harris Jr is at 6 points and 7.4 assists per game.

Following this game for the Jayhawks, they will remain at home to take on Kansas City on December 5th. A big rivalry game against Missouri is set for December 9th, and then a trip to Indiana on December 16th. The Jayhawks finish 2023 with home games against Yale and Wichita State.

Unbeaten National Champs

Coach Hurley and his UConn Huskies do not seem to be skipping a beat after cutting down the nets in April. The Huskies are off to a quick start, with every win so far by double digits. In fact, the Huskies have set the record with their 24th straight non conference win by double digits. That will get put to the test in Lawrence. Donovan Clingan is having a solid season as well, as he is making nearly 68% of his shots, and scoring 15 per game.

UConn will be no stranger to tough non conference games. On Tuesday, the Huskies are taking on North Carolina, and on December 15th, they will battle against Gonzaga. UConn starts Big East play on December 20th, as they are on the road at Seton Hall.
