The Cavaliers are 9-1 on the season, and have won five straight games. Virginia’s last win was by two at home over Northeastern.
For Memphis, they come into the game with an 8-2 mark. The Tigers have won three straight games, which includes an upset win at home over Clemson on Saturday.

The Virginia Cavaliers come into the game with just one loss on the season. It was a blowout loss to Wisconsin. Since then, the Cavaliers have wins over West Virginia, Texas A+M, Syracuse and two others. In the latest win, the Cavaliers needed their leader Reece Beekman to come up big late in the game. Earlier, in a win over North Carolina Central, Isaac McKneely knocked down six three point shots in the win.

Memphis is a high scoring basketball team, averaging nearly 80 points per game. The defense is nowhere near that of Virginia, as they are allowing 74.4 per game. The top scorer so far for Memphis has been David Jones. The forward is scoring more than 20 points per game. Jahvon Quinerly is adding 13.7 as well for the Tigers.
