The first Monday Night Football game was pretty ugly. Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers are struggling to start the season. The loss was their second straight to start the season. The New Orleans Saints picked up the low-scoring game and won their opening two games to go along with Tampa Bay and Atlanta in the NFC South.

The second game saw some pretty big hits, and an injury that will likely keep Nick Chubb out for an extended time. The Pittsburgh Steelers avoided an 0-2 start and beat the Cleveland Browns. The week started with the Philadelphia Eagles knocking off the Minnesota Vikings. The two teams combined for 62 points, including 42 in the second half of the game. Minnesota scored late but ran out of time and lost their second straight game to start the season. The win for the Eagles pushed them to 2-0 on the season.

The Baltimore Ravens went on the road and downed the Cincinnati Bengals. The biggest news here, outside of Baltimore moving to 2-0 and Cincinnati falling to 2-0, was the loss of Joe Burrow. His injury is one that the Bengals will keep an eye on as the team moves forward. The Ravens used 237 passing yards and two touchdowns in the win.

In the NFC West – the San Francisco 49ers downed the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers looked great, starting with a Christian McCaffrey touchdown. They are another team that moved to 2-0 on the season. For the Rams, Puka Nacua broke the NFL record for most receptions by a rookie, with 20 in the first two games of his career.

The Dallas Cowboys also went to 2-0 with a 30-10 win over the New York Jets.
