Army Black Knights at Navy Midshipmen Betting Preview – CFB

From Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachuttes, the Army Black Knights will take on the Navy Midshipmen in the lone College Football game of the weekend. The Black Knights of Army are 5-6 on the season, and have won three straight games. After starting 2-5, they have wins over Air Force, Holy Cross and Coastal Carolina in their last three.

For Navy, they are also 5-6 on the season. The Midshipmen lost their last game on the road at SMU, allowing 59 points. The Midshipmen and Black Knights are both seeking their sixth win, and become bowl eligible.

Navy Midshipmen

The Midshipmen of Navy had a stretch where they won four out of six games. In those four wins, they allowed just 30 total points. But, in their two most recent losses, they have allowed a total of 91 points. On the season, Navy is scoring 99 points per game, and allowing opponents to score 22.9 per game.

The offense is led by their rushing attack.  The Midshipmen are rushing for 200.5 yards per game, while picking up under 100 passing yards per game. The top guy on offense for the Midshipmen has been Alex Tecza. He has carried the football 117 times on the season, for 724 yards and five touchdowns.

Army Black Knights

The Army Black Knights started 2-1, and then fell to 2-6. During their five game losing streak, the Black Knights scored just a total of 54 points in those five games. The Black Knights in their three game winning streak now have scored 68 points. On the season, Navy is scoring 20.8 points per game, and allowing 22 per game

Bryson Daily is the quarterback for Army. He has 859 passing yards on the season, with six touchdowns, and has rushed for an additional 817 and 7 touchdowns. In the win over Holy Cross in November, Tyrell Ribonsin scored on a 14 yard run and Elo Modozie returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.

Rivalry History

The first time these two programs played was back in 2022. Army won that game 20-17 in double overtime. That game was played in Philadelphia. Army has won five out of the last seven meetings between these two teams. This is the first meeting between these two teams in Foxborough. Next year, they will move to Landover Maryland to play at the home of the Commanders. The all-time series is led by Navy 62-54-7.

Low Scoring Final

This game is going to be a rushing attack festival. Both teams want to run the football, and neither team is going to air it out. Both defenses have been great. The highest scoring game in this series over the last 10 years has 41 points. Several times they got to 38. This year is going to be no different. The winner will get to 17, and that’s it.
