Atlanta Hawks at Milwaukee Bucks Betting Preview

The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks are set to tip off on Sunday in the National Basketball Association.

The Atlanta Hawks have started the season with back-to-back losses. Milwaukee has started with a win in their only game of the season thus far.

Both teams are out of the Eastern Conference. The Milwaukee Bucks come into the game listed at -7.5 over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Bucks Looking for Another Win

The Milwaukee Bucks are at home for their second time this season. The first win for Milwaukee came over the Philadelphia 76ers. After leading much of the game, the Bucks fell behind in the fourth quarter, only to come back and win the game 118-117.

In the win, Damian Lillard, who the Bucks got this fall scored a team-high 39 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 12 points in the game as well.

Khris Middleton will miss this game for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was limited in the first game and is trying to work his way back from an injury. Pat Connaughton will likely take his place in the starting lineup. Outside of those three, Malik Beasley and Brook Lopez should round out the starting five, with Bobby Portis one of the first off the bench.

The Bucks, following this game, will host the Miami Heat on Monday and then head out on the road to Toronto on Wednesday.

Atlanta With Early Season Struggles

The Atlanta Hawks have seen some early season struggles in 2023. The Hawks lost their first game in Charlotte and then came back and lost at home to the Knicks.

In the recent loss, the Hawks could not slow down Jalen Brunson, as he nailed eight threes in the game. The defense, allowing 120 points per game, is one of the worst in all of the league to start the season.

On the offense side, Trae Young leads the way with 20.5 points per game but is making just shy of 23% of his shots. Young is also adding 10.5 assists per game.

Dejounte Murray has not gotten off to a great start, as he is scoring just 14.5 points per game and also making just 35.5% of his shots. Murray has yet to make a three-point shot this season.

Atlanta will play back-to-back games and three in four games. The Hawks are hosting Minnesota on Monday and then will see the Washington Wizards come into town.

Bucks Win Again on Sunday

The Milwaukee Bucks are going to win this game and win it easily. The Bucks are a much better basketball team than the Atlanta Hawks. Something is not right with Atlanta, and they are going to have to figure it out quickly or fall way behind in the Eastern Conference standings.

Look for a big game from the Greek Freak and Dame Time, and the Bucks win by double digits.

The final betting prediction for this game is the Milwaukee Bucks -7.5 over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
