Atlanta was pretty ugly in the loss on Saturday to the Cavaliers. The Hawks were outscored in each of the three quarters, and finished with just 95 points. In the loss, Dejounte Murray scored 24 points and ripped down 9 rebounds. The Hawks had no answer for Cleveland’s big man Jarrett Allen. Allen scored 14 points and ripped down 11 rebounds.

The Hawks are led in scoring by Trae Young. The Hawks point guard is scoring 27.2 points per game, and dishing out 10.9 assists per game. Young was placed in concussion protocol and will not play in this game. Clint Capela is scoring 11.3 points per game, and making over 58% of his shots from the field. The Hawks are scoring 120.7 points per game, but the defense is one of the worst in the league at 122.5.

Atlanta is on the road for back to back games. The Hawks will go to the Warriors on Wednesday. After that, they are back home for six straight games, which starts with the Dallas Mavericks.

Kings Looking to Snap Streak

It has been a recent struggle for the Kings. Sacramento has allowed 125 points per game during their four game losing streak. Before the loss to the Pacers on Thursday; they lost to the 76ers, Bucks and Suns, a tough stretch of games.

Sacramento is one of the top three point shooting teams in the league. The Kings are making 15.1 per game. The top scorer for Sacramento this season has been De’Aaron Fox.  The point guard is scoring nearly 28 points per game, while big man Domantas Sabonis is adding 20 points and ripping down 12.6 rebounds per game.

The Kings start a seven game road trip following this game. The Kings are at the Warriors, Mavericks, Grizzlies, Heat, Pacers, Bulls and Cavaliers. Sacramento’s next home game is February 7th against the Detroit Pistons.

Home Sweet Home for Kings

The Kings should finally get back on track. Getting and staying home should help the Kings. They also get a Hawks team that has struggled for much of the season. Atlanta is also without Young in this one.  We are going to take the Sacramento Kings at home over the Atlanta Hawks. Take the Kings over the Hawks on Monday!
