Caesars and Harrah’s Teaming for Racetrack in Nebraska

Caesars Entertainment is expanding into Nebraska through its Harrah’s brand. The company is building a new Harrah’s casino and racetrack in Columbus, Nebraska. The gaming conglomerate announced the news earlier this week.

Caesars bought Harrah’s and 2005, and it has turned into a premier brand for the company. The closest Caesars resort to Nebraska is Harrah’s Council Bluffs Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

This property is positioned on the border, but the new location will be Caesars’ first property in Nebraska. Based on the framework for the facility, it’s going to be a casino worth traveling to because of numerous amenities, including a racetrack.

Excitement for Caesars in Nebraska

The facility will be positioned off Highway 81 in Columbus, Nebraska. The city is 80 miles north of Lincoln, so it is in a great location. The facility will cost $75 million, but it will be worth the investment based on revenue projections.

The casino is not expected to open until late 2022, but it will generate a significant amount of revenue from visitors all over the area.

The rewards program that Caesars offers is one of the best in the nation. The company has properties all over the United States. The rewards are transferable at all the resorts, so this property should draw visitors from outside the state.

Details of the Caesars Casino

The complex is going to have multiple gaming facets over 40,000 square feet. There will be a mile-long horse racing track, a 40,000 square foot casino, 400 slot machines, and 20 table games.

Additionally, there will be a sportsbook with a full-service restaurant and bar. There will be countless televisions and comfortable seating areas. For people who are not into gaming, there will also be retail space with multiple shops.

The racetrack is going to be an attraction that sets the facility apart from other casinos. Other casinos are currently being built that are larger than the Columbus facility. Nevertheless, neither of these properties offers a racetrack.
