The winner of this series will take on the winner of the series between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers needed a rally in Game 7 of the series in the first round over Orlando. The Cavaliers got down 18, and stormed all the way back to win. Cleveland was at home, as they finished with a 48-34 record, for the fourth seed in the East. The Cavaliers went 22-19 on the road, but are 0-3 in the postseason so far.

For Boston, they made quick and easy work of the Miami Heat. The Celtics took down the Heat in five games. Boston is the top seed in all of the National Basketball Association. The Celtics went 64-18 on the season. Boston also went 37-4 at home, and have won 2 out of 3 so far at home in the postseason.

The Boston Celtics are big favorites in this game. Boston is -11.5 over Cleveland.

It seems simple for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the four postseason wins, they have scored 101 points per game. In the three postseason losses, they scored 89 points per game. Cleveland is going to want to score 100+ in this game. It is not an easy task to keep Boston under 100 ever.

The Cavaliers have seen Donovan Mitchell put together a sensational postseason thus far. Mitchell scored 39 in the Game 7 win. This is coming off a 50 point performance in the Game 6 loss. During the regular season, Mitchell scored 26.6 points per game.  Caris LeVert came off the bench and scored 15 in Game 7 as well.

The Boston Celtics dominated the regular season, and dominated Miami in the first round. The Celtics won the division by 14 games over the second seeded Knicks. That also puts a ton of pressure on Boston to get to the finals. In the four wins for the Celtics, the defense was great, holding Miami to 94 or less in each game.

Jayson Tatum is an elite player in the league, and will look to take over down the stretch. Tatum scored 26.9 points per game in the regular season. The former Duke Blue Devil star was one of five with double digits in the Game 5 win over the Heat. Tatum finished with 16 points.

Boston was the second highest scoring team in all of the league during the regular season. The Celtics scored 120.6 points per game. The Celtics made the most three pointers in the league this season as well. Boston knocked down 16.5 per game.

The Boston Celtics are going to win this game. The Celtics should win this game with ease. Boston is a better team, and back at home. Cleveland is coming off an emotional game, and had to go back on the road.
