The Cleveland Cavaliers needed the win on Monday, and needed it in a bad way. They also need to win this game as well. Before the back to back against Charlotte, the Cavaliers had dropped three straight games, and four of their last five. In those three straight losses, the offense averaged under 94 points per game.
In the win on Monday, the Cavaliers saw Darious Garland and Jarrett Allen have nice nights. Garland scored 15 points, and dished out 10 assists in the game. Allen was solid with 17 points and 13 rebounds. It was nice to see Evan Mobley return to the lineup for Cleveland in the game.
The Cavaliers will host Philadelphia on Friday, and then head out on the road. The Cavaliers play five straight road games. It will start in Denver, and head to Salt Lake City, Phoenix and then back to back games in Los Angeles.
Long, Frustrating Season for Hornets
It has been a long season for the Charlotte Hornets. The organization did not expect LaMelo Ball to play in just 22 games on the season. Ball has not played since January 26th against Houston. Before his injury, he scored 23.9 points per game. Miles Bridges is second on the team with 21.2 per game.
Brandon Miller has been a nice addition for the Hornets. The rookie from Alabama has played in 64 games this season, and scored just shy of 17 points per game. In the recent loss, Miller led the team with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
The Hornets are starting an eight game home stand. The Hornets do not play another road game until April 10th. During the eight game home stand, they will welcome the Warriors, Clippers, Celtics, Trail Blazers, Magic, Thunder and Mavericks following this game.
Cleveland Completes Sweep
This game is in Charlotte, but not sure that is going to make a difference. The Cavaliers won easily in Cleveland, and they are going to win easily in Charlotte. The Cavaliers know the importance of playing well in this one, and all the rest of them.
The Hornets really do not have much concern about winning games this late in the season. They are not going to the postseason. In the end, we are going to take the Cleveland Cavaliers.
