Denver Nuggets at LA Clippers Betting Preview

This is what you call a must-see game. Everybody in the Eastern time zone should be finishing their evening and starting their weekend by watching this one. Two teams that are playing their best basketball of the season going head-to-head.

Nikola Jokic might be the most entertaining player in the league right now in close games, as with minimal effort, he is able to knock down game-winners from all over the floor. He has already made eight in his career.

The Clippers, on the other hand, are finally at full health, so the defensive ability of Pat Bev is now on display again. Paul George is back and trying to find his rhythm after another slow performance in the team’s last contest.

Kawhi is continuing to dominate, his flat, line-drive jumper continuing to drop through the hoop with extreme regularity. Their big man Ivica Zubac is also playing his best ball of the season, taking a little pressure off of Montrezl Harrell in the process.

The spread for tonight’s game features the Clippers as a six-point favorite. The over/under is set at 218.5.

Nuggets looking to keep it rolling on the road

If they want to ensure that they stay in the #2 spot in the conference, they will need a win tonight. This is an important stretch for them as they look to establish consistency. They have been the most underrated team in the league for the second year in a row, the addition of Jerami Grant paying dividends on both sides of the ball.

Nikola Jokic started slow, and now his numbers are career-highs across the board. They have overcome injuries to several starters along the way and for them to still sit where they are, speaks volumes of how hard they work.

This is a Nikola Jokic game if you’ve ever seen one. He will take advantage of Zubac and Harrell on the offensive end as he puts up a big stat line to help his team out tonight. He and Jamal Murray are both ready to go off.

Clippers looking to do it in front of the home fans

This is the first time in a long time (if ever) that both the Lakers and Clippers are title contenders. And so while most arenas only host 41 home games a year, Staples is hosting 82 games in which the home team has a chance to get a victory each and every night.

This is a very deep team following the additions of Reggie Jackson and Marcus Morris Sr. only making them better. Lou Will is playing fantastic ball again, and it’s crazy to think he is okay settling for $8 million a year. The man really deserves a significant raise.

There is no clear weakness on this team, as they have depth at all positions. Perhaps it is their health, but for tonight, everyone should be a full-go.

Nuggets win on the road

Surprise! Taking Denver as a road underdog. It’ll be a fun game.
