Iowa Gets First Daily Racing Form Sportsbook
What Unique Aspect Does DRF Bring to Iowa?
Iowa will be the first state to allow Daily Racing Form to launch in the industry. The operator specializes in providing premium data and in-depth coverage on horse racing for fans across North America and will now expand its reach even further than before.
Itay Fisher, Chief Digital Officer at Affinity Interactive, stated in a press release, “The sportsbook website and app launch represent our third major sports product rollout in recent months and further illustrates our ambition and commitment to providing best-in-class sports betting products for customers.”
“This is another important step as we continue to deliver on our pipeline of innovative offerings that will position us to grow our presence nationwide and take bets in every state.”
This is a huge milestone for the company moving forward. It is one of the fasting mobile wagering platforms as it has ambitions to meet the consumers’ demands in the sports betting industry.
The sportsbook is powered by DRF Bets and will provide coverage of international sports and sports across the United States. The app will provide different ways for users to place wagers on numerous events. This will include moneyline, points spread, over/under, parlays, and live/in-game betting.
The new DRF Sportsbook is coming after the launches of the DRF Sports website in September 2021 and the DRF Cash Grab free-to-play sports prediction app just a month later.
James Zenni, Chairman of Affinity Interactive, stated in a press release, “The DRF sportsbook launch is a key event for Affinity Interactive’s ever-growing platform….”Iowa was a natural choice for our first sportsbook offering given our established presence at Lakeside Casino in Osceola.”
The goal for this sportsbook is to continue the role of being a news coverage outlet for horse enthusiasts. The next mission is to make the app one of the best sports betting apps in Iowa and other states the company looks to expand moving forward.

Bettors placed more than $2 billion in bets for all of 2021. To end 2021, the sports betting handle for December was $266.5 million. Iowa has benefited by offering mobile sports betting to the public as the mobile handle was $241.7 million, which made up 90.7 percent.
A lot of sportsbooks have entered the state as it continues to grow as DRF is set to offer its services to bettors across Iowa. Circa Sportsbook, Barstool Sportsbook, and Fubo Sportsbook made their debuts towards the end of 2021. Lastly, Tipico Sportsbook is set to go live in 2022.
