Sports betting provider FanDuel is gearing up for a big sports betting launch in the ‘Wolverine State.’ FanDuel, one of the state’s sports betting providers, will be offering new customers several bonus incentives to open an online sports betting account.
There is already sports betting in Michigan at physical locations. Due to COVID-19, being able to place sports bets at brick and mortar locations has been a bit of hit or miss due to intermittent closures due to the virus. Sports betting fans in Michigan are excited because, in a few weeks, online sports betting is set to launch in December. At that point, worrying about which locations are open to place a bet will be a non-issue.
FanDuel sportsbook has already sealed a contract with the Detroit Lions and the Michigan Wolverines. The partnership will be featured prominently across all social media platforms of both teams.
Promotional Deals Available Now Ahead Of Launch
There are already promotional deals being offered for new customers ahead of the official online sports betting launch. One of the deals being offered by FanDuel will apply to online sports betting and online casinos, as both will launch on the same day. The incentives are being offered now to generate excitement for the launch and is available to Michigan residents. Players who register for accounts ahead of the official launch will be given $100 of free bets.
The breakdown will be $50 to be used on the sportsbook for sports bets and $50 in bets for the online casino and is available when a new account is created. There are no codes necessary to claim this deal. A person simply has to pre-register for a FanDuel online sports betting account, and the bet and casino money will be in the player’s account on the first day of the launch and available to spend.
This special promotion will only be available to new players up until launch day, so players are encouraged to set up their accounts now to take advantage of this deal. According to a press release from FanDuel, the pre-registration is very easy and only takes about two minutes to complete.
Another Incentive Is A Risk-Free Bet
Another incentive that FanDuel is offering new account holders is a $100 risk-free bet. The first bet placed up to $100 is guaranteed. If the first bet is a losing bet, the account will be credited for that bet up to $100. This is a very standard promotion that FanDuel offers all new account holders in other markets across the country. This is an automatic incentive for new accounts.
No promotion code is necessary for this bonus either. FanDuel also has regular weekly and daily bonuses that are awarded to players. How these daily and weekly bonuses will be done in Michigan is not yet known.
When the sportsbook launches in December, the daily and weekly bonuses will be widely promoted across the sportsbook’s platforms. FanDuel routinely offers a ‘daily odds boost’ and is expected to offer that in Michigan too, when the online sportsbook launches. There are also cash prizes offered daily that players can sign up for.
