Sunday Night Football will be played in Denver Colorado as part of Week 16 in the National Football League. The Christmas Eve game will feature the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos. The Patriots come into the game with the worst record in the AFC. The Patriots are 3-11, and coming off a home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last week. New England currently holds the 2nd pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
For the Denver Broncos, they are still in the postseason race. The Broncos are second in the AFC West with their 7-7 record. The Broncos are a game back of the pack for a wildcard spot. Denver fell on the road at Detroit last week.

Broncos Looking to Make Move
Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos had playoffs on their minds, but it was hard to tell from their dismal start. This is the same team that allowed 70 points in a single game against the Dolphins. On the season, Denver is scoring 21.7 points per game, and allowing 25.7.
Russell Wilson has come in and been much better in year two for the Broncos. The signal caller has 2,832 yards thrown and 24 touchdowns. Courtland Sutton has emerged as his top threat. The receiver has 58 receptions for 770 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season.
For the Denver Broncos, they will remain home for the holidays, as they host the Chargers on Sunday. The final game is at the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 18.
Last Hurrah for Belichick
Many are discussing that Bill Belichick will no longer be the head coach of the Patriots after this season. Time will tell on that one. But, before that happens, could his team pull a big upset to ruin the Broncos chances? The Patriots three wins have come over the Jets, Bills and Steelers in 2023.
The Bills are having a terrible time scoring this season. They rank 32nd in the league with just 13.3 points per game. The passing attack is 26th in the league, while they rank 24th in rushing. New England’s top threat, Rhamondre Stevenson has been out, which leads Ezekiel Elliott as the top rushing back.
New England is at the Buffalo Bills next week. Then, the final game of the season for the Patriots and likely for Bill Belichick’s career with the Patriots is January 7th against the Jets.
Broncos Top Patriots
The Patriots just are not having a very good season. This is not going to change with this game as well. While, New England would love to spoil the party for a long time AFC rival, the Broncos are not going to let this chance slip away. A chance to beat a team, and put themselves into an interesting spot in the AFC playoff picture. Russell Wilson and the Broncos get the job done here.
