Orlando Magic at Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Preview

Slow Scoring Orlando Offense

It was not a great offensive performance for the Magic on Saturday. They scored 83 points in the game, and got blown out by 14. Orlando saw Paolo Banchero score 24 points in the game, but their starting shooting guard Gary Harris did not score in the game.

During the regular season, the Magic were anchored by Banchero, with his 22.6 points per game. He played in 80 of the team’s 82 games. Second was Franz Wagner, who scored 19.7 per game. Jalen Suggs was third on the team with 12.6 per game.

Orlando did not play great basketball down the stretch. THe Magic saw a loss to the Hornets, and then three in a row to the Rockets, Bucks and 76ers. Orlando won their season finale by 25 against Milwaukee.

Cleveland Cavaliers Looking to Go Up 2-0

Cleveland saw four guys score double figures in the game 1 win. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 30 points. Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley both added 16 points, and double digit rebounds as well. Darius Garland was the fourth Cavaliers player to score double digits in the game.

During the regular season, Mitchell led the league with 26.6 points per game. Garland was second on the team with 18, while Jarrett Allen went with 16.5 per game. The Cavaliers as a team finished 20th in the league with 112.6 per game. Cleveland made 13.5 three point shots per game as well.

The Cavaliers were an unselfish team for much of the season as well. Cleveland averaged 28 assists per game, which ranked 8th in the league.
