Sunday’s Sports Betting Options
As sports make their return from recent boycotts, there is a wide variety of betting that can be done to close out the weekend. Sunday is packed full of action, and the NFL isn’t even here yet.
Let’s take a look at some of the sports excitement set to go down on Sunday, August 30th.
Final Round of the BMW Championship
The BMW Championship is the second of three tournaments in the FedExCup Playoffs. Olympia Fields in Illinois is hosting this weekend.
This weekend’s course is proving to be much more challenging than expected. Dustin Johnson won last week shooting 30-under-par, whereas the leaders heading into Sunday at the BMW Championship are just -1.
This tournament is playing much like a US. Open. Sunday might come down to the last couple of holes, and right now, several golfers are in the mix to win. Some expected inclement weather is another variable these golfers may have to work around besides the course’s toughness.
Johnson is one of the co-leaders entering the final round and he has an excellent opportunity to widen his lead in the FedExCup standings. Justin Thomas has a lot of work to do this weekend to climb up the leaderboard.
It will be exciting to see who lands in the top-30 for the Tour Championship next weekend.
NBA Playoffs
The playoffs continue for the NBA, and Sunday will have the first matchup of the second round. The Raptors will face off against the Celtics in the first game of the series.
Many counted out Toronto after losing Kawhi Leonard in the offseason, but they will be the favorites against Boston.

MLB Winding Down
It seems like the baseball season is just getting started but it’s also nearing the finish line in this shortened schedule. Teams are approaching the trade deadline and are eyeing their positions in the postseason.
The two New York teams will have a double-header, and the Yankees need to get on a winning streak to catch back up with the Rays. Gerrit Cole will be on the mound in the first game for the pinstripes, and their odds are always great when he gets the start.
