Tennessee Volunteers at Alabama Crimson Tide Betting Preview

Just an incredible College Basketball game set for Saturday in the SEC. It is the Tennessee Volunteers on the road at the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both teams are looking to stamp yet another top win on their resume as the month of March arrives. These are also the top two teams in the league.

Tennessee is 22-6 on the season and 12-3 in league play. The Volunteers have won five straight games on the season. Tennessee on the road this season is 6-3. The last game for the Volunteers was a home win over the Auburn Tigers.

For Alabama, they used 64 second half points to come from behind to knock off Ole Miss on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide are now 20-8 on the season and 12-3 in league play. Alabama is 13-1 at home this season.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are a small favorite at -1 in this game.

Tennessee Volunteers 

The Tennessee Volunteers have not lost a game since February 10th on the road at Texas A+M. Their five wins since that loss have come over Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Texas A+M and Auburn. This final stretch for the Volunteers will certainly get the team battle tested for the NCAA Tournament. After this, Tennessee is at South Carolina, and then hosts Kentucky.

The Volunteers are led in scoring by Dalton Knecht. He is scoring 20.8 points per game. He is one of three players for Tennessee scoring in double figures. In the recent win over Auburn, Knecht put on one of the best performances of the College Basketball season; pouring in 39 points. 

Knecht has gone five out of his last seven games with 22+ points in the game. The Volunteers team scoring has gone all the way up to 80.7 points per game, which is 30th in the nation. The Volunteers are one of the most unselfish teams in the nation; dishing out 17.1 assists per game.

Alabama Crimson Tide

The Crimson Tide had a second half to never forget against Ole Miss. After trailing at halftime by three, they scored 64 second half points. The Crimson Tide can pick up the pace offensively like no team in College Basketball. Alabama now leads the country with 91.5 points per game.

The top scorer for Alabama this season has been Mark Sears, with 20.6 per game. But, do not forget about the talents of Aaron Estrda, Grant Nelson or Rylan Griffen. Those three are also scoring double digits per game, with 13.2, 12.3 and 11.6 respectively.

Alabama will finish the regular season with games at Florida on March 5th, and then back home against Arkansas on March 9th, before the SEC tournament.

What a game this should be. Both teams are incredibly tough and physical. The Crimson Tide are the top scoring team in the nation, and with this game at home, and the fans going bonkers over a potential SEC regular season title, we are going to take the home team.
