The Favorites

The Gonzaga Bulldogs and Baylor Bears are the two favorites to win the NCAA Tournament this season, and neither team has suffered a loss yet. These teams were supposed to meet up during the regular season, but COVID-19 forced that game to be canceled.
Gonzaga is the best offensive team in the country, and that roster is loaded with future NBA stars. The Bulldogs have not been tested in a long time, and they are still looking for that elusive title.
Baylor is arguably the best defensive team in the country, and they are led by a trio of guards. The Bears have faced a challenging schedule in the Big 12 Conference and continue to rattle off wins.

Villanova, Florida State, and Alabama could all crash the party as well, but the first step for each of these teams is reaching the Final Four.

There are some very interesting schools included in the group of longshots, including some traditional blue-blood programs. Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and UCLA have all had down years up to this point, but it’s hard to bet against them in the NCAA Tournament.
Duke and Michigan State aren’t even listed at this point, but they could make a deep run in the tournament if they can sneak in the 68-team field.
