Ballys Jubilee and North Tower Rooms
Bally’s has always been a hidden gem for staying on the center of The Strip (across from the Bellagio and Caesars)and traveling on a budget. Most CET Total Rewards members can usually get the base rooms (North Tower) comped or very cheap. Ballys is a step up from the other low end CET properties like Harrah’s and Flamingo and is a 1,000 steps ahead of the quad. Bally’s also has some of the larger rooms on the strip at 450 square feet.
Prior to September, the base rooms were the South tower rooms, but that tower and those rooms have been totally updated and renamed to the Jubilee tower. The room pics are starting to appear on the Ballys Tripadvisor reviews.
The North Tower rooms were last updated in 2004 and are very average rooms. They are decent and clean which is perfect for a solo business trip or just a place to crash and detox from taking pleasure of the free drinks… And now there seems to be a new category of rooms – Classic. In Vegas hotel terms, Classic means old and outdated. The South tower used to be the classic rooms.
So here’s the differences between the North tower rooms:
- North Tower Classic – rooms on the lower floors (ignore the pics on Bally’s site- those are old South tower rooms)
- North Tower Deluxe – rooms with a strip view
- North Tower Luxury – larger deluxe room (530 sq feet) on the higher floors.
My next trip I have 4 comped nights in a Ballys North Tower Classic and I’m hoping to get a jubilee room with a shot at the $20 trick. The problem with this North Tower Classic, is the rooms facing Flamingo Rd could be load with all the construction going on…
The resort fee for Bally’s is $18/night, and is also added on to comp nights.
