The Los Angeles Lakers, after getting smacked on Monday by Philadelphia, came back with a strong effort in Detroit. In the win, DeAngelo Russell scored a game high 35 points, while Anthony Davis added 28 points and 16 rebounds and LeBron James added 25 points.
James is the top scorer for the Lakers with 25 per game, but as we saw on Wednesday, Russell and Davis can take over and dominate the game as well. The Lakers big three all came into the game questionable with injuries. That leaves us to wonder about their status for this game, on back to back nights.
The Los Angeles Lakers are playing their final game of a four game road trip. After beating Cleveland to start the trip, they are looking to finish 3-1. The Lakers will host the Rockets on Saturday, before hosting the Suns on December 5th in the NBA in-season tournament.
Lakers Top Thunder on Thursday
This should be a really good basketball game. The Thunder and Lakers are both teams that want to keep getting better, and prove that they can be one of the contenders in the Western Conference. Shai Gilgeous Alexander against LeBron and Anthony Davis is a must watch basketball.
