NBA In-Season Tournament Down to Final Four

We are down to the final four teams in the NBA in-season tournament. After group play last month, the four quarter finals games took place Monday and Tuesday. That sets the stage for the weekend, as we get the final four teams in action. Let’s take a look at the updated betting odds to win the 2023 NBA in-season tournament:

Thursday December 7th, 2023 – 5pm EST

  • Indiana Pacers +4.5 vs. Milwaukee Bucks; 254.5

This should be a really good basketball game between two teams that are pushing the basketball up the floor. The Pacers are leading all of the National Basketball Association in points scored with 128.4 per game. In the win over the Celtics on Monday they scored 122. The Pacers got 26 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists from their star Tyrese Hailburton. The guard has been sensational, scoring nearly 27 points per game, dishing out 11.9 assists per game, and averaging 4 rebounds per game. 

He will face a tough challenge on Thursday taking on Damian Lillard, Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks are 15-6 on the season ,and have won 8 out of their last 10 games, The Bucks are also scoring the basketball, with more than 122 per game. In their win over the Knicks, Milwaukee scored 146, with Antetokounmpo pouring in 36. The combination of him and Lillard are scoring over 55 points per game.

Thursday December 7th, 2023 – 9pm EST

  • New Orleans Pelicans +2.5 vs. Los Angeles Lakers; 229.5

The Pelicans used a strong second quarter to beat the Sacramento Kings on the road on Monday. The Pelicans and Kings were back and forth each of the other three quarters. Brandon Ingram was the man in the game with 30 points and 8 rebounds. On the season, the former Duke Blue Devil is scoring 23.7 points per game. The Pelicans have three guys scoring 20+ points per game on the season. 

The Lakers used 31 points and 8 rebounds, along with 11 assists from LeBron James to take down the Phoenix Suns in the quarterfinals.  Anthony Davis added 27 and 15, while Austin Reaves came off the bench for 20 in the game as well. Los Angeles is scoring 112.2 points per game as a team, and have been one of the worst three point shooting teams in the league, but come into this game as the favorites to win the west in the in-season tournament.

Saturday October 9th, 2023 – 8:30pm EST

  • Winner of Thursday Game 1 vs. Winner of Thursday Game 2

This will be the championship game on Saturday between the two winners of the Thursday night game. This will determine the first ever NBA in-season tournament champion. All of the games will be played at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
