Sacramento Kings at Phoenix Suns Betting Pick – Feb 13, 2024

On Tuesday, the Sacramento Kings are on the road at the Phoenix Suns in National Basketball Association action. The Sacramento Kings are 7th in the Western Conference, with their 30-22 record on the season. The Kings are 15-13 on the road this season, and have gone 6-4 over their last 10 games. Sacramento is coming off a tough loss on the road at Oklahoma City on Sunday.

For the Phoenix Suns, they are 31-22 on the season. That is fifth in the Western Conference. The Suns are also coming off a loss. They fell by 1 on the road at the Warriors on Saturday. Phoenix is 16-11 when playing at home, and also 6-4 in their last 10 games.

The Phoenix Suns are -4 at home over the Sacramento Kings. The total for this game is 243.5.

Sacramento Kings

Last week, the Kings had an interesting week. THe Kings lost to the worst team in the league; the Detroit Pistons by 13 points. The very next game, the Kings beat the defending champion Denver Nuggets by 29. Then, the Kings went to OKlahoma City and got beat by 14 points. Consistency is lacking with this Kings squad.

In the win over the Nuggets, Domantas Sabonis was great with 17 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. He is the second leading scorer for the Kings with 19.9 per game. De’Aaron Fox is the top guy. The point guard is scoring more than 26 points per game, and playing in 35.3 minutes per game.

The Kings will need to finish 18-12 to match their win total from a season ago. Sacramento will play back to back road games. Following this one, they go to Denver to take on the Nuggets on Wednesday. That is the final game before the All Star Break for Sacramento.

Phoenix Suns

Expectations are quite high for the Phoenix Suns. After going 45-37 a season ago, they added to their attack with Bradley Beal. Now, the Suns will need to go just 14-15 to match that. But, the true test is in the postseason, where this team is built to succeed.

The Suns are led by Kevin Durant and his 28.3 points per game. Devin Booker is second on the team with 28 per game. Bradley Beal was added to the mix and has been healthy after missing the first 20 games or so. The Suns are scoring 117.4 points per game as a team.

The Suns are at home on Wednesday to wrap up their first half of the season. After the break, they will start at Dallas and Houston.

Suns Top Kings at Home

With Phoenix at home, we like their chances to win this game. The Sacramento Kings are a tough team to figure out. They are talented, and have won some big games this season. This is a team that could eliminate nearly any team in the postseason. But, it seems to be a team that could lose to nearly anyone. Look for the Suns to shoot the basketball well enough at home to win this game over the Kings. When push comes to shove, we are taking the Phoenix Suns -4.5 over the Sacramento Kings.
